WHY YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED, ALARMED, ANGRY

Since my second intervention on this matter, the issue has taken other dimensions; that should CONCERN, ALARM and ANNOY you; as a Nigerian, who is desperate to have a nation that should be a safe haven for you and your family.
You may have watched on another viral video; where a FRUSTRATED Hon. Gudaji Kazaure had to RESORT to talking to the press, covering the National Assembly, to express his dismay at the leadership of the House of Representatives; for DISALLOWING him from ASKING the CBN Deputy Governor, some questions.
The Lady deputy Governor had come to represent the Governor, Godwin Emefiele; but Gudaji was prevented from asking the NEEDED questions; that would make her SHED light; on the different accounts where the Stamp Duty TRILLIONS are HIDDEN.
One expected the TRENDING stamp duty investigation to be a matter of URGENT NATIONAL IMPORTANCE; to the two Chambers of the National Assembly; particularly, the House of Reps; since the story was blown open by its member.
They should be grateful to Hon. Kazaure for trying to HELP salvage whatever is left of their highly DISPUTED honor and credibility as Legislators serving the people of Nigeria.
Fortunately, I watched the video clip; in which the scenario he painted to the media, happened.
According to him, when he raised his hands to ask Emefiele’s rep, some questions, he could notice the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila (who really didn’t mind allowing him) seeking the Deputy Speaker, Ahmed Idris Wase’s permission to give Gudaji the floor.
Unfortunately, through their eye-contact, Gudaji saw that the deputy speaker, Idris Wase, declined consent; which Gbajabiamila obeyed and refused, thereby, denying Gudaji, the right to speak; as a member who has INFORMATION that could ADVANCE the House inquiry into the matter.
It is now obvious, from that little drama in the House; that the leadership of the national assembly, especially the Lower Chamber may truly be part of the CONSPIRACY against the Nigerian people.
Secondly, in the interview he had outside the chamber, Gudaji INSISTED that the Stamp Duty money, the CBN Governor is ALLEGED to have stolen, is FAR MORE than the over N89 trillion being bandied in the media.
Indeed, if you calculate an average of the N20 billion, that window is supposed to be raking in, on a DAILY basis from 2017 to the 2020 (where they had discovered the missing N89 trillion), you will understand that the figure is not UNBELIEVABLE.
Particularly, when one considers the fact that, they NOW have ON RECORD; that in the first FOUR months of 2022, the platform GENERATED in excess of N117 trillion; and definitely, EXPECTED to bring in, over N400 trillion by the end of this year.
I’m sure you are still DOUBTING or thinking the figures are exaggerated. Allow me to bring it home to you again…
Each time you and every Nigerian do a bank transfer above N5k, the bank charges you and every Nigerian N100 per transaction.
In one moment or in a day, you may find yourself SENDING that money to several people; just as tens of millions of Nigerians would; for that day; and this type of transaction goes on every day; even as you read this.
So, do the math yourself; and see, if you will not arrive at billions of naira being made; daily, through the stamp duty revenue.
What Gudaji and his committee are asking the fleeing CBN Governor, is that he should submit the many accounts where he is LODGING the said daily collections from the stamp duty revenue; and move them into a stamp duty CENTRAL account; which should be PROPERLY opened.
Surely, that should NOT be DIFFICULT to UNDERSTAND!
It even gets worse; according to Gudaji, the DSS DISCOVERED that Emefiele may be LENDING Terrorists money from that account.
Now, that is CONCERNING and ALARMING!
Meanwhile, I believe we should pray for the SAFETY of the CBN Governor; because his life may be in DANGER!
Here is why…
When he was briefly detained for questioning, he was ALLEGED to have THREATENED to REVEAL names of those with him in the THEFT!
You and I know; should that ever happen, only a TINY few in Buhari’s government will be SPARED.
So, it is not IMPOSSIBLE that for the SAFETY of their personal INTEGRITY, it may be EXPEDIENT for the cabal to ENSURE Emefiele is not ARRESTED.
Considering the heat on the man, it may really no longer be COMFORTABLE to have Emefiele running around; and the way the DSS chase of the man is going, the State Security Service may EVENTUALLY catch up with the guy.
That may SPELL doom for their career, integrity and freedom; as many will definitely go to jail.
In order to FORESTALL such ugly eventuality, it may give some COMFORT to have the guy DISAPPEAR!
Should that happen, and with the might and money of the State at their disposal, the group may EASILY hang it on the neck of the DSS.
They may even stage-manage a recorded arrest and perhaps RESISTANCE of the CBN Governor at the point of being taken away; which would be staged as the EXCUSE to snuff the life out of the nation’s chief banker.
I know you will say, I have been watching too much Hollywood lately; lol.
On a serious note, however, it is a CONSPIRACY theory, the reality of which, should not be DISMISSED as some James Hardly Chase crime story; playing in my head.
We can only but PRAY; it never comes to pass.
Another dimension to the evolving twist in the Stamp Duty saga is the involvement of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the matter. Predictably, and according to Gudaji, they are trying to politicize the issue by pushing the religious witch hunt argument.
Personally, I am not surprised; because, the CAN headquarters is in Abuja; and it is not far from Emefiele’s office.
The man has so much money that he can give every member of the association so much cash in TITHE and OFFERINGS (in different sub heads; such as Pastor’s offerings, building offering, even OFFERING offering, lol), that could make them say ANYTHING; individually, as General Overseers (GOs) of their individual churches; and as a collective; using their Christian platform to defend their fellow Christian brethren.
It does not help matters, though, that Gudaji is a Muslim; because, it makes it easier for the CAN people to say Emefiele is being PERSECUTED because he is not a MUSLIM CBN Governor. Can you imagine that!
Meanwhile, the children who were shut out of schools for the over eight months of ASUU strike are members of the Youth department in their churches.
The poor Nigerians who they MILK money out of, don’t have jobs; at best, many are UNDEREMPLOYED; with little or no salary at all; and where they are paid at all, most are OWED salaries; running into months.
Yet, I have NEVER heard where CAN speaks out against the injustice.
Should CAN, not be seen at the forefront; RAISING ALARM at the mind-boggling sum being carted away; while Nigeria’s inflation is SOARING out of control?
Well, as I stated in the first paragraph of the first part of this stamp duty saga, quoting the lines from the lyrics in Fela Anikulapo’s all-time hit ODOO; in which he sings; “ the thing wey dey coz our suffer, e don dey show him face to us…” the issues behind our problem as a country are beginning to show their ugly faces to us.
Adapted to this context, therefore, it will be correct to say, “ the people wey dey coz awa suffer for Nigeria, don dey SHOW dem face to us…”
In other words, the CAN leadership is part of our problem; as a people; because as people who have CHOSEN to take the side of a CBN Governor, ALLEGED to have LOOTED trillions of moneys that CAN pay our nation’s debt, fund 2023 budget and settle the basic needs of the country; and most importantly, BRING DOWN the RISING cost of goods and services in the country; they are TELLING Nigerians, especially members of their flock, that they DON’T CARE about their welfare.
Where they are FACED with the CHOICE; of being COMPROMISED by THIEVES; who have STOLEN the people’s money; and SPEAKING OUT, so the CRIMINALS can be APPREHENDED and MADE to RETURN the people’s money, so Nigerians, INCLUDING members of their flock can have a good country to live in and CALL their OWN…
They are TELLING Nigerians that they will RATHER BE COMPROMISED and PROTECT such THIEVES with their platforms.
Anyway, we would allow God to HANDLE their matter at the appropriate time; because, it is becoming OBVIOUS that these characters may be carrying bible in public and hobnobbing, in private, with the devils that are making the Lives of Nigerians, including members of their churches, a needless nightmare.
Evidently, one big deal about this Stamp Duty story, is that it is UNMASKING the masquerade called CABAL in this government.
It is also playing out; before our eyes and CONSCIOUSNESS; what we now know about leadership, the elite, across ETHNIC and RELIGIOUS divides; their collaborators in government and their CONSPIRACY against the Nigerian State and people.
In other words, those who are stealing our common wealth, do not belong to just one ethnic or religious group; they are from every part of the country.
They are UNITED in the looting of our collective PATRIMONY; but DIVIDED when it comes to WORKING for the COMMON GOOD of all Nigerians.
As for you and I, all we are interested in, is for the stamp duty money to be RECOVERED and RETRIEVED; from those who are stealing it.
We can forgive them the years they have eaten from the money; but they should please SURRENDER the COLLECTION for this year 2022 henceforth.
This is so government can use the money to PAY OFF our nation’s debt and fund the 2023 budget.
They can keep stealing the Crude oil and its Refined products in the name of fuel subsidy.
They can continue their pillaging of our mineral resources; as Hamza Al Mustapha has GRACIOUSLY EXPOSED! They can continue to steal all they want; where they can.
What we will no longer ALLOW them to steal, is our PERSONAL money; and that is the money they deduct from our daily bank transactions; which is MORE than ENOUGH to settle the problems CONFRONTING us as a nation and as a people.
As the Holy Books say, ‘He will use things of the foolish, to CONFOUND the Wise…’
Is that not what we are witnessing in this stamp duty drama now; where it has taken a Legislator, derogatorily described as a Jester in the Chamber, to EXPOSE the HIGHEST CORRUPTION in the history of not just Nigeria, but Africa; as a whole.
As Gudaji MAINTAINS, he is NOT interested in the prosecution or jailing of anybody; just RETURN the STAMP DUTY MONEY to a stamp Duty Central Account. This is EXACTLY, the SENTIMENT of Nigerians. Chikena!
