The House of Representatives’ candidate in the next Saturday’s elections, Honourable Dauda Alaya, has expressed sadness over the untimely death of Magistrate
Mariam Bukola Kawu-Said.

She died at the National Hospital Abuja on Sunday,  February 19, 2023.
Until her death, Late Magistrate Kawu-Said was on the Bench of the Federal Capital Juduciary, Abuja.

She was the daughter of the former Justice and the Attorney-General of Kwara State, Honourable Justice Sulyman Durosinlorun Kawu.
Honourable Alaya who described the late young Magistrate as a vibrant professional with a promising future, noted that her death was a great loss to the Kawus, the Ilorites and the judiciary as a whole.
” She was a gentle soul very vibrant,easy going and up and doing. Adieu my sister, my in-law. May Allah illuminate your grave,forgive your sins and make Aljannah fridous your final abode.”

Honourable Alaya also prayed Allah to grant the family the courage to accept her demise as the will of Allah and the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.He urged all his supporters to endeavour to be part of the general Fidau prayer for her between 10:00 – 11:00am on Tuesday February 21, 2023 by the Grand Khadi of Kwara State, Hon. Justice Abdulateef Kamaldeen as the officiating cleric.Late Magistrate Kawu-Said has since been buried at the Gudu Cemetery, Abuja in accordance with the Islamic rites.
