Chief And Dr Lolo Chioma Agbo Foundation Brings Succor To The Hopeless ,

Chief and Dr Lolo Chioma Agbo are a young couple with hearts of gold. They started a pet project ten years ago to impact the downtrodden in their place of birth, Ikem in Isi Uzo Local Government Area of Enugu State.

The project which is being sponsored under Chief Emeka and Dr Lolo Chioma Agbo Foundation is a medical outreach which the couple organizes every year to handle various health challenges for rural communities within the local government.

Living in far away New Jersey, United States of America, the couple makes it a point of duty to fly home every December for the past ten years to carry out this divine assignment.

Right from the beginning, it holds for two days, 29th to 30th December. At inception it was intended to cater for the health needs of the locals within Ikem community but it has now gone beyond the confines of Isi Local Government as patients even come from every part of Enugu State to benefit from the outreach.

The 2023 programme was phenomenal. The venue of the outreach, the Hill-Top Primary School Ikem Uno was jam packed with patients suffering from different types of health challenges. The foundation came with about nine surgeons, opticians and dentists including other health professionals like nurses and laboratory technologists.

Chief Emeka Agbo and Dr Chioma Foundation equally partners with some hospitals which provide support facilities for patients needing operations and emergencies just to make sure that the people receive the best medical attention.

Apart from meeting the health needs of the patients during the 2023 programme, the foundation gifted them with food items, kitchen utensils and television sets. The foundation beyond the health outreach is also providing supports to the aged people in the community with cash, clothing and food items.

The December medical programme is usually rounded up with all night party in the country home of Chief Emeka Agbo during which everyone is fed with sumptuous meals as well as assorted drinks from late evening till dawn.

One unique and interesting thing about this couple is the enthusiasm with which they carry out this assignment. They cuddle and welcome patients at the venue of the outreach with this exceptional smiles that make the attendees feel relaxed and loved.

Indeed the couple is a gift to the communities within the Isi Uzo Local Government and the entire inhabitants of EnuguEast/Isi Uzo Federal Constituency of Enugu State. The philanthropy is divine and impactful.

Job 29 is really fulfilled in the lives of this couple and one is not in doubt that God is also blessing them for what they do for humanity especially for the poor and orphans.
