The former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party, (LP) Presidential Candidate in 2023 general elections, His Excellency Peter Gregory Obi has made a passionate appeal to Hospital for Humanity, (HFH) to extend its services to the Northern part of the country.

Obi, a special guest to the non-governmental organization’s medical outreach held in Lagos at the weekend appealed that, its services be extended to our northern brothers who are faced with severe security challenges which have rendered many homeless and exposed to unbearable health consequences”

Obi who was represented at the event by his presidential Campaign spokesman, Dr Yunusa Tanko praised the organization for what it has been doing to save lives stressed the need for its activities to rotate round the country especially in the north.

He acknowledged that in safe guarding lives, Hospital For Humanity has carried out free surgeries on glaucoma, eye related issue in Rivers State, health care system in Anambra, and Ebola training in isanlu kogi state.

Obi also lauded the organization adding that, “it is worthy of note that Hospital for Humanity recorded over 96 percent success out of over 1,000 cases it has handled”.

The Labour Party leader equally called for government’s collaboration with HFH to further expand the noble objectives being championed by the the organization’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr Segun Ajayi and Executive Director Myna Shegog.

The organization has also done free heart surgeries and other critical health issues in all the places it has carried out projects in the country.
