The Flying Eagles stepped up their preparation for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations with another comprehensive 5-1 win against local side, Galadima FC in a friendly in Abuja on Wednesday.

Yahaya Ibrahim, Leke Adams, Ayuba Francis and Thompson Ishaka were the goal scorers for the Flying Eagles.

It was the second consecutive win for the Flying Eagles since they set up camp in Abuja last week.

Ladan Bosso’s side defeated Global Soccer Academy 5-0 in their first friendly last week.

More friendlies are being lined up for the team ahead of the competition.

The seven-time champions will embark on a training tour of Morocco at the end of the month.

The U-20 AFCON will kick-off on February 19 and run through March 11.

The Flying Eagles are drawn in Group A with hosts Egypt, Mozambique and Senegal.
