The newly appointed Director General of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization, Balogun Akin Osuntokun has revealed that before he became the Director General of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization, he was invited by one of the three major presidential candidates to head

Osuntokun who said that he has a very good personal relationship with the presidential candidate who offered him that position also revealed that although, he rejected the offer, but it was very painful for him to do so.

He noted that he rejected the offer on moral and principle ground. According to him, the offer to lead the campaign council of the presidential candidate whose identity he refused to reveal is a test to his moral position.

He noted that he did not make himself the Director General of Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Organization, rather, he was appointed out of his own reputation and belief of what is good for Nigeria.

He noted that he has taken a more important decision to join and support Peter Obi’s presidential ambition, which he said is more important than his senatorial ambition.
