Labour party, (LP) has named replacement for the former Director-General its presidential campaign council, (LPPCC).
He is Balogun Akin Ositokun, former Political Adviser to Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Dr Doyin Okupe had recently resigned as the LPPCC DG following his conviction on money laundering charge by the a Federal High Court .
Until recently, Osuntokun was the party’s Zonal Campaign Coordinator( South).
He is a political scientist, strategist, researcher, administrator, journalist and writer, with experience in media advocacy, policy research and implementation and political analysis.
A former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria, Osuntokun served as Director of the presidential campaign of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in 2011.
