No N100 Million Was Given To Nenadi Usman For Kaduna Rally-Tanko

The Chief Spokesperson for the Labour Party presidential Campaign Council, (LPPCC) Dr Yunusa Tanko has debunked the reports that one of the party’s leading figures in the north, Senator Nenadi Usman was given N100 million to organise the Kaduna rally.Dr Tanko described the reports which have gone viral on social media as the handiwork of the opposition which have been overwhelmed by the rising mass acceptance of the Obi/Datti candidacy in the north.

The LPPCC Chief Spokesperson said in a statement that, “
Our attention has been drawn to news reports with highly libelous contents trending on social media networks that Prominent Kaduna leader, Senator Nenadi Usman was given N100million to organize the highly successful Kaduna State rally.

“To put the records straight, there was no time the sum of money mentioned in the  report was given
as  concocted by  enemies of progress prepared from the pit of hell to deliberately frustrate efforts put in by the Senator rather she personally contributed her own money to ensure that a successful rally was held at the Ahmadu Bello stadium in Kaduna on the 18th of January 2023.

“The fact is that Sen Nenadi Usman was NOT given the sum of 100m infact it is on record that she actually contributed to the funding ofentertainment and logistics for the rally.

She basically ensured that funds were distributed to all local government areas of Kaduna irrespective  of northern or southern Kaduna for logistics and security.

“The leadership of the party can confirm this fact, the party will use this opportunity to warn fabricators of lies designed to dampen the spirit of our dear leader who went extra mile to ensure the rally was successful.

“The  truth is that our rallies unlike what obtains from the sides are usually attended by organic supporters which does not require funding outside logistics, security and entertainments” Tanko stressed.
